May I get assistance with my online order?

Yes of course! You can get in touch by via email and we will endeavour to have your query answered as soon as is possible.

I have placed my order but have not yet received the order confirmation, what next?

It may be a few minutes in receiving your order confirmation email. Alternatively the email may have been redirected to your spam inbox. If you still haven’t received your email do get in touch via the contact methods as listed above or via the contact page and we will attend to the matter.

How much is delivery to the UK?

Our delivery is charged at (or less) than cost and options are categorized as below:

For greeting cards and stamps (up to four cards) postage is £2.00.

These orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class postal service which aims to arrive the next working day.

For all other items postage is £4.75.

These orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 which aims to arrive within 2-3 working days.

We aim to dispatch orders the same day, otherwise orders will be sent the next working day.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes, we provide sustainable packaging as standard across all orders. Please see Delivery Information for more details but to quickly sum up:

  • Our boxes are FSC and recyclable.

  • We use brown paper tape, recycled paper wrapping and recycled protective card wrapping all of which is 100% recyclable and plastic free.

  • Our business cards are unique in being made from biodegradable paper embedded with wildflower seeds designed to be enjoyed and then planted!

Do you offer international delivery?

We love our overseas neighbours and would love to send our gifts via international delivery but the complexities for micro-businesses mean that it is not currently available as an option. However we will continue to pursue this as a tenable and sustainable option to everyone.

What are your conditions for returns?

We hope you are happy with your order however if you have a change of mind or simply wish to return an item, details of our returns policy are below.

Returns policy - Food Products

Perishable items such as food are non returnable and non-refundable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Returns policy - Sale Items

Items that are in the sale are non-returnable and non-refundable so we kindly ask you to consider this when shopping for sale items.

Exchanges

At present we are unable to offer exchanges for online orders.

Returning an online order

You have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us if you wish to return an item and an additional 14 days to return it. To be eligible for a return items must be in their original condition and unused with packaging intact and a printed copy of your order confirmation.

Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost for returns and we recommend getting a proof of postage. Please contact us via email for further information and we will be happy to help.


I am purchasing a first class stamp, may I pick which one?

Absolutely! There is the option to select each design individually and add it to your basket.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link by Stripe.

Is my payment secure?

All transactions made on thecontentedbear.com website are protected as shown by the presence of the padlock symbol indicating a secure location.

It is important to note the exchange of data on the internet is never considered to be 100% secure due to the ability of third parties to potentially recover information and use it.

Can I use a bank card for payment that is not in my name?

Yes, if placing an order on behalf of someone else you can add the billing address that corresponds with that bank card and a separate delivery address if needed.
